Job Overview

• Position Type: Contract (Travel/Local)
• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (Main OR - Unit 701)
• Shift/Schedule: Days (Typically 14–16 RNs staffed on days).
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 (Standard OR ratio)
• On-Call Requirements: * Weekday Call: 1 day per week from 17:00 - 19:00 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM).
  • Weekend Call: Once every 6 weeks only if the SSC Ortho physician is on-call.
• EHR System: Meditech

Location & Facility

• Facility: HCA HealthONE Swedish (Main Building)
• Location: 501 E Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80113
• Facility Size: 408-bed acute care hospital.
• OR Suite Breakdown: 14 total ORs consisting of:
  • 1 Hybrid Cardiovascular (CV) OR
  • 1 Cysto Room
  • 12 Multipurpose ORs

Required Qualifications & Hiring Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care OR experience is strictly required.
• Certifications: * BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
• Personality Fit: Prioritizes patient experience, possesses excellent communication with providers/staff, and is highly adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Profiles with these will be considered first):

• Dual Competency: Candidates who can both scrub and circulate are highly preferred (though circulate-only may be reviewed).
• System Experience: Prior experience charting with Meditech.
