This role prepares engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, and ensures designs meet applicable codes, client requirements, and project schedules while delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions.Responsibilities:Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projectsPerform Load/Energy calculations with software such as Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar programsWork with senior engineer to conduct building surveys and documentation of existing HVAC systemsDevelop system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildingsWrite/edit project specificationsPrepare detailed design documents, reports, and studiesCode compliance researchCoordinate work with other disciplinesProvide construction administration servicesQualifications and Experience:5-10 years of experienceBS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldLicensed Professional Engineer (Strongly Preferred)Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS OfficeStrong grasp of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and local building codesFamiliarity with codes, standards, and design guidelinesLocation: Philadelphia, PATravel: Some travel to US sites.Compensation & Benefits: The expected base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $125,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
