Role Description
We are currently looking for experienced linguists to join our Finance Talent Community. We are seeking senior linguists with a strong background in financial translation and a deep understanding of market-specific terminology and conventions. We prioritize linguists with expertise in areas such as investment, compliance, and regulatory documentation, where accuracy and consistency are essential.
- Financial Translation: Translate complex financial content between English and your native language with a high degree of accuracy and terminological consistency.
- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure translations reflect market-specific financial systems, terminology, and formatting conventions.
- Quality & Risk Awareness: Apply rigorous quality standards to deliver precise, unambiguous content where accuracy is critical.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and quality teams to meet client requirements and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Native-level proficiency in the target language(s).
- A graduate qualification in translation, linguistics, or language studies, OR
- A graduate qualification in another field plus 2 years of full-time professional translation experience, OR
- 5 years of full-time professional translation experience.
- The ability to follow terminology and reference materials precisely.
- Proven professional experience in translation and localization within the financial domain.
Requirements
- Not ideal as a full-time job or primary income source.
- Work availability fluctuates with project demand, making this better suited as a supplemental income stream.
- Requires reliable availability and commitment.
- Once you accept a task, we expect quality work and on-time delivery.
- Most tasks require a minimum of 2 hours per day or 10 hours per week.
- Geographic restrictions may apply.
