This opportunity involves working as a pharmacist in a home infusion setting, supporting the preparation and verification of sterile compounds. The position requires adherence to USP 797 and 800 standards, ensuring safe and effective medication practices. Clinical consultations with patients are an important part of the role, providing expert guidance and support.


Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Duration: 2 months (contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacy technicians with the preparation and verification of sterile compounds within a clean room environment
• Ensure compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards for sterile compounding
• Conduct clinical consultations with patients to support medication therapy
• Utilize the Care Tend computer system for documentation and workflow management (experience preferred but not mandatory)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license
• Experience in home infusion pharmacy or an inpatient hospital setting
• Proven sterile compounding expertise
• Familiarity with Care Tend software is advantageous but not essential
