Ensures treatment practices are in accordance with accreditation and organizational standards, and are aligned with person-centered care. Essential FunctionsProvides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse evaluations, prepares detailed reports with findings and recommendations, and ensures timely completion of all clinical documentation, including psychosocial histories, assessments, treatment plans, admission/ discharge summaries, other chart-related documents, and correspondence for assigned patientsProvide individual counseling and facilitate educational and counseling groups as assigned; accurately and promptly chart these activities in patient records Support with daytime on-call and after hours on-call support, as neededUnderstand and enforce expectations and policies related to patient careMaintain patient confidentialityStrive to increase professional growth and effectiveness through training and by keeping abreast of current trends and theories in relevant areasAssist patients in understanding and completing therapeutic change objective-driven treatment plansWork cooperatively with necessary staff members, other community resources, and referral sources to coordinate services to patientsTo ensure the smooth functioning of clinic operations, the certified clinician will attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and clinical supervisionCompetenciesEffective communicator; assertive when necessaryEthical practiceHighly confidentialCalm under pressure and in crisisInteracts with patients and team members in a professional mannerDemonstrate exceptional time management skills to stay organized and meet tight deadlinesContinuous demonstration of behaviors aligned with a posture of servant leadership and our cultural values Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and Zoom.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the organization.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a residential treatment facility or an outpatient clinic setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptops, photocopiers, and smartphones.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This position would require lifting files, opening filing cabinets, bending or stooping as necessary, and performing work at a computer for extended periods. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position; the schedule includes evenings, weekends, and on-call rotational work. TravelMinimal travel is expected for this position.Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility QualificationsFully certified as a CSW, CAP, or CAPA through the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board, or eligible for licensure if current certification is out-of-state.ORPh.D. or Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or related field from a Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
