Overview: Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate, direct nursing care to patients in a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit. This full-time day shift role offers the opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients experiencing a variety of acute and chronic conditions.

Unit Details: The unit features 37 private rooms and cares for patients with diagnoses including acute respiratory and cardiac disorders, cardiac dysrhythmias requiring drug therapy, pre- and post-surgical telemetry monitoring, renal disease, neurological and endocrinology disorders, psychosocial challenges, and gastrointestinal issues.

Education and Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Experience and Skills

• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Effective organizational and leadership abilities
• Understanding of age-specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual needs of patients
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to safely handle potential exposure to infectious materials
