Reimbursable (RM) Functional SAP SME (5445)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to provide Reimbursable (RM) support for the Army GFEBS-SA Program. This role serves as a liaison between the end-user community and technical teams, driving system design decisions, resolving issues, and delivering data-driven insights to leadership.Responsibilities: Provide SAP Reimbursable (RM) functional support for the Army GFEBS-SA ProgramEngage end user community/process owners to define requirements, and translate those business needs to guide the design process and make system design decisionsReview/approve documentation (system functional designs, system configuration designs/rationale, test models, test results, and training documentation)Coordinate with end-user, functional and/or technical representatives to resolve help desk tickets.Analyze issues/tickets for common themes to be addressed via training or identification of system change(s).Generate content for and conduct functional forums to train end users on new functionality or to address common issues.Marry data/reports across many transactions and tables structures (including IDocs) in order to generate and present metrics to leadershipRequired Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degreeSecret security clearance and willing to obtain a Top SecretSAP consultant with 3-5 years of experience in public sector or DOD. GFEBS.Excellent communication skills at any organizational level to articulate customer needs, changes necessary, how to train end-users, etc. Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skillsAbility to be self-directed in the completion of individual work assignments.Ability to provide deliverables to the client on time.Customer serving personality with ability to working collaboratively with others. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skillsPosition requires 5 days on site in client office in a SCIF.Desired Skills and Experience: GFEBS-SA experienceInvolved in two (2) or more software implementationsExperience in one of the following areas is also a plus:Performing Year End Closing functionAssist DFAS Accounts Receivable team from a systems and business process and accounting support perspectiveUnderstanding how the Reimbursable business process is interwoven with the other processes (i.e. FI/FM and Spending Chain)Ability to build out repeatable reporting functionality for routine analysis to assist commands and end usersThe SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
