Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced ER RN for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. This role requires a skilled professional in emergency nursing, providing essential care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. As an ER RN, you will be integral in managing patient care and ensuring a high standard of emergency services.

Key Responsibilities of the ER RN

• Provide general emergency department care for combined adult and pediatric patients
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and accompany patient care
• Manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure
• Administer blood products and central line care
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs
• Administer continuous IV paralytics and sedation
• Handle emergency medications and IV vasopressors
• Conduct procedural sedation administration
• Apply isolation precautions when necessary
• Ensure floating as required when census demands
• Meet competency in essential emergency skills such as CVA management

Requirements of the ER RN

• Active NY RN License
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV insertion
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
