We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support customer survey activities in Indiana. This is a Contract position focused on engaging visitors in retail and other in-person settings, gathering feedback, and documenting responses accurately. The ideal candidate is comfortable starting conversations, represents the organization effectively, and helps ensure high-quality data collection through every interaction.

Responsibilities:

• Engage shoppers and visitors in a courteous, attentive manner to invite participation in brief surveys.

• Conduct face-to-face interviews using approved question sets and adapt communication style to different audiences.

• Capture participant responses accurately on paper forms, tablets, or other mobile devices.

• Clarify the purpose of the survey, address basic questions, and safeguard confidential information throughout the process.

• Track progress toward assigned completion targets and maintain a steady survey volume during each shift.

• Review collected information for completeness and accuracy before submitting or entering data.

• Share recurring customer comments, patterns, and concerns with supervisors to support reporting and decision-making.

• Represent the brand positively in public-facing environments while following established engagement and privacy standards.

• Prepare and maintain survey stations or kiosks when needed and keep materials organized for daily use.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve participation rates and strengthen data quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, field outreach, or survey-based work is an advantage.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the confidence to initiate conversations with the public.
• Detail-oriented approach, positive attitude, and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people.
• Basic proficiency with computers, tablets, or mobile devices for data entry and recordkeeping.
• Careful attention to detail with a commitment to accurate information gathering.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in retail or other on-site environments.
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus.
