ServiceNow Delivery Director

Role Description

This isn't a role where you inherit a practice and keep it ticking over. There's no practice yet. You're building it.

Our client is a growing agentic AI consultancy with deep ServiceNow, Microsoft, and UiPath expertise. They work with enterprise clients on real problems, not pilots. Right now, they're standing up a ServiceNow delivery capability from scratch, and they need someone to own it end to end: the team, the standards, the quality, and the credibility that makes them competitive.

The problem? Delivery capability doesn't build itself. They've got the commercial motion covered (a GTM ServiceNow Lead owns that side), but they need a delivery counterpart who can hire across geographies, set the bar for what good looks like, and lead a globally distributed team that actually holds together across time zones. That's this job.

As Director, you'll own delivery oversight across every active ServiceNow project, build and lead the team, and work hand in hand with the GTM Lead to turn delivery work into repeatable, market-ready IP. You don't need to be the most technical person in the room. You do need to know what's being built, what good looks like, and where the hard problems live.

What You'll Own

• Delivery oversight: Keep visibility across every active ServiceNow project, spot risk early, and step in when something needs attention. You're the senior escalation point for complex or at-risk work.
• Team building: Build and lead a globally distributed delivery team across multiple time zones. Own hiring across geographies, define the profiles, and bring the right people in.
• People development: Create clear career pathways for consultants, architects, and developers. Run 1:1s, performance conversations, and capability reviews across a remote-first team.
• AI-powered delivery: Champion AI tooling inside delivery itself, accelerating documentation, code generation, testing, QA, and governance. The team uses AI to work smarter, not just build it for clients.
• IP capture: Systematically pull reusable assets out of delivery (accelerators, templates, integration patterns) and work with the GTM Lead to package them into offerings that shorten sales cycles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a ServiceNow delivery lead, or practice manager with 10+ years in the ServiceNow ecosystem.
• A track record of building and leading consulting or professional services teams across distributed, multi-timezone geographies.
• You can read a project early and know when something needs a hand. Comfortable being a people leader and a hands-on delivery operator, sometimes on the same day.
• You've worked alongside commercial or go-to-market functions in a consulting environment.
• Enough depth in ServiceNow architecture (Now Assist, Virtual Agent, Workflow Data Fabric) to challenge an approach, assess a design decision, and know when to bring in deeper expertise. You don't need to be hands-on day to day.
• Familiar with how ServiceNow connects to UiPath, Azure OpenAI, and Databricks, plus a working understanding of where LLMs fit in enterprise automation.

• A genuine interest in how AI is changing the way professional services teams work, not just what they deliver.
• Experience packaging delivery IP into repeatable, market-facing offerings.
• Pre-sales and scoping involvement where delivery credibility matters.
