Yard & Warehouse AssociateWe are seeking an energetic and motivated Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.Position: Full-Time Yard and Warehouse Team MemberStart Date: ASAPSchedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesProcess incoming shipments in a neat and organized fashionOrganize and maintain the yard, ensuring that materials, tools, and equipment are stored safely and easily accessible.Pull stock to fulfill and prepare orders for shippingLoad and unload materials from trucks, including customer vehicles.Ensure orders are accurate and maintain a high level of customer satisfactionHelp with receiving shipments, ensuring the correct materials are delivered and properly stored.Assist in stocktaking and maintaining accurate inventory recordsInspect incoming shipments for any damages, defects, or errorsBreaking down orders, pallets, weights.Assisting at second yard location.Adhere to all health and safety guidelinesQualificationsHigh school diploma/GED is preferredPrevious experience working in a warehouse setting is preferredAbility to use warehouse equipment, including forklift, skid steer, pallet jacks, etc.Capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy objectsAbility to work with limited supervisionExcellent organizational and time management skillsWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.At Valley City Supply, we believe in family.
