Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse AssociateA manufacturing company is seeking a Shipping/Receiving/Warehouse Associate who is responsible for various fulfillment operations including pulling orders, pack, repackaging, shipping, and loading, and unloading trucks. Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Friday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m.; however, actual hours will vary according to customer needs.Job Duties:Receive parts from final inspection or pull designated items from finished-goods stockCompare identifying information and count, measure, or weigh items of outgoing shipments to verify information against shipping documentsManage the packaging of product into proper shipping containers in a manner that will insure safe transit to customerAffix shipping labels and packing lists on packed cartons and see that all orders are shipped in a timely fashionReceive and unload freight either manually or with equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, operate lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipmentsUnpack and inspect shipments of materials, equipment, and supplies to assure compliance with purchase order specifications, identify and report shortages, damaged goods, or other discrepanciesMaintain stock inventory and warehouse in a safe, clean and orderly condition, participate in the taking of physical inventory, and make sure all incoming shipments are received and put away in a timely fashion
