We are currently looking for an experienced Shipping/Receiving Order Picker. Must have manufacturing environment experience.

General Statement of Responsibilities

Shipping professionals are responsible for receiving, tracking, and sending orders to customers , and verifying that products arrive on time and to the right person. They also use radio frequency identification to scan barcodes for organized and thorough documentation of all inventories.

General Performance Expectations

· Performs daily shipping activities.

· Prepares product for shipment.

· Assists in organization of warehouse, including inventory and cycle counts.

· Performs labeling/relabeling of product.

· Operation of mobile equipment.

· Performs daily receiving/subcontracting activities.

· Completes documentation.

· Prepares outgoing shipments (UPS/FEDEX)

Education and Experience

· Perform work under minimal supervision.

· Oversees complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher level staff.

· Possess comprehensive working knowledge of subject matter.

Competencies/ Skills

· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

· Ability to follow and understand written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to read written instructions.

· Able to keep records.

· Ability to use computer programs, including data entry.

· Ability to interpret work instructions.

· Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hand and arms. Employees are required to climb, stoop, or kneel.
