Registered Nurse - MedSurg

Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) for our Med Surg Night Shift to provide direct patient care using the nursing process. This role requires strong clinical skills, collaboration across disciplines, and a commitment to patient advocacy. Key Responsibilities Perform direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and elimination. Develop and document individualized care plans. Coordinate patient care needs across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, and referrals. Educate patients and families on care plans, conditions, and treatments. Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. Education Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required) Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred) Licensure & Certifications Active RN license in Kentucky or a compact state (Required) New graduates may work under a KY provisional license for up to 6 months, with RN licensure required within that period. BLS certification (must be obtained within 45 days of hire). Must-Have Skills Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. Ability to plan, document, and coordinate patient care effectively. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Compassionate patient advocacy and commitment to high-quality care. Why Join Us?
