Tax Senior
Location: Wayne, PA
A nationally ranked, employee-owned accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Senior for a new office in Wayne, Pennsylvania. You will run client engagements from start to finish and supervise and mentor associates. This is a hybrid position with three days per week onsite.
Responsibilities
- Run client engagements from planning through completion and manage to budget
- Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns; perform in-charge role as needed
- Review returns prepared by staff and recommend accuracy improvements and tax savings
- Prepare complex individual, trust, partnership, corporate and foreign returns
- Research and consult on tax matters
- Respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries
- Travel to clients occasionally
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's preferred
- 2+ years of progressive tax preparation and compliance experience
- CPA license or in process of obtaining
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ProSystem Engagement and CCH Axcess
- Construction, manufacturing and distribution, real estate, financial services or private client experience desired
- Strong tax accounting skills, including consolidated, partnership and combined state returns
