About the Role:
Join The Center Of Love And Hope LLC as a Direct Support Professional, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. Our dedicated team in Stamford, CT, is passionate about providing compassionate care and support to those in need.
Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life.
- Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress.
- Facilitate community engagement and social activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.
- Document daily activities and report any changes in client behavior.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others.
- Understanding of person-centered care principles.
- Must pass background checks and obtain necessary licenses.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
