Student Ministry Leader

Responsibilities Spiritual Development Develop a yearly personal growth plan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life, including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and deepening an understanding of Scripture. Seek and maintain relationships and disciplines within an active church community. Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community. Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development. Leadership Development Recruit, train, and support volunteer leaders, fostering team building and supervision. Model excellence in contact work, club, Campaigners, and camping activities. Attend and participate in area leadership meetings and assigned activities. Resource Development Raise financial support and maintain good donor care practices. Communicate ministry updates and progress to donor partners. Assist with camp fundraisers and attend occasional committee and adult functions. Direct Ministry Engage in all levels of contact work: club, Campaigners, and camping. Participate in leadership teams to execute a Young Life club and Campaigners/discipleship ministry with excellence. Implement a summer and school‑season camping strategy and potentially serve on summer staff or assigned staff under direction from the area director. Ministry Support Adhere to policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism in office hours, dress, conduct, and time management. Set yearly ministry and personal goals, reviewing them regularly. Assist with office administration as required, including expense reports. Perform other duties that align with gifts, experience, and area needs. Education Pursuing a college degree. Qualifications Proven relational skills with children and adults. Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
