Overview Title: Registered Nurse – ICU Location: Pontiac, Michigan, United States Start date: 07/13/2026 Duration: Weeks Weekly pay: $1,634-$1,718 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Shift: 3x12 nights Setting: inpatient acute care unit with ICU and Step-down (Intermediate Intensive Care Unit) Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment (PRN) This role follows AHSA's clinical interview process. Candidates can expect outreach within two hours via phone or text, with decisions typically made the same day or by the next business day. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,634-$1,718 per week Contract type: Travel - temporary assignment (PRN) Shift: 3x12-hour nights Start date: 07/13/2026 Setting: inpatient acute care with ICU and intermediate care unit Active engagement requirement: must pick up at least one shift every 60 days to stay active Responsibilities Deliver bedside nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and SDU units, from adolescence to geriatrics Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory data and clinical changes; respond with appropriate interventions Manage complex medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical conditions; assist with procedures and ventilator management as required Administer medications, including high-alert medications, and document accurately per policy Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, perfusion and other disciplines to develop and execute care plans Supervise and support CNA/SNA, LPN and other staff as assigned; delegate tasks appropriately Maintain documentation in the medical record, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with standards Adhere to AHSA-based interview process, credentialing requirements and facility policies Requirements 2+ years ICU experience required Current Michigan RN license verification (LARA) required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; TNCC or TCAR preferred Resume reflecting ICU experience; skills checklist current within 1 year Michigan nursing license verification (LARA) documentation required Physical copies of certifications required Must complete the AHSA-related Per Diem Application Questionnaire Travel experience preferred Ability to work in an inpatient acute care setting and respond to critical patient needs Benefits and Support Dedicated support throughout the assignment 24/7 recruiter and travel support Credentialing and onboarding assistance Assignment coordination and scheduling support #J-18808-Ljbffr
