Career advancement through mentorship and internal mobility. Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Radiology Supervisor for our Dearborn CT department located within our Dearborn Hospital. Shift/Hours: 40 Hours, First Shift. This position supervises and participates in daily shift activity in the assigned Radiology discipline. Position performs management functions as delegated by the area Manager or Director. Job Description Follow the safety steps required to perform duties and be in compliance with medical, state, and federal safety standards. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriately. Obtain and record all patient data as required by the medical center, state, JCAHO or other agencies. Ensure proper charging of all procedures and correct coding and modifiers. Assign daily work assignments to staff. Ensure quality of procedures is performed. Prepare staff schedules that minimize overtime and ensure adequate coverage on all shifts. Assist in employee evaluations and ensure initial and ongoing skills and competency requirements are met. Serve as a coach/mentor for staff and assist in education and training of students. Assist Manager/Director in hiring new staff. Initiate disciplinary actions with management approval and oversight. Report equipment malfunctions promptly to Clinical Engineering or Plant Engineering. Follow up to ensure function and safety of patients and staff. Utilize and supervise staff regarding proper use and function of necessary software systems. Perform and/or delegate QA, QC, CQI data as required by JCAHO. Perform all duties of staff or technologist in the assigned discipline. Perform other duties as assigned. Education, Credentials, Licenses Education and National Credentials: Associate degree OR graduate of an imaging approved program. Registered in the imaging areas reporting to this position: CT – ARRT (CT) Current CPR certification. State Licensure if applicable: Kentucky: KBMIRT Radiation Operators License (Radiography and/or Nuclear Medicine). Indiana: Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) License – Nuclear Medicine Technologist and/or Radiologic Technologist. Specialized Knowledge Good organizational skills. Knowledge of the Radiology Department functions. Basic Microsoft Office. Experience 3 years’ experience in Radiology or a modality within Radiology. FLSA Status Exempt Right Career. Right Here.
