Details General Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing unit with occasional rehab coverage Patient population includes general medsurg cases with occasional non-critical pediatric patients on the floor Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM 13-week assignment length Floating required No standing on-call schedule, though census-based on-call may be required prior to a scheduled shift start Uses MedHost EMR Requirements Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact) required BLS certification required ACLS and PALS certifications preferred Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers Additional Information Provide general medsurg nursing care including occasional care of non-critical pediatric patients on the floor Scrubs of any color are permitted Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local travelers are not accepted RTO requests must be less than one week Travelers who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-729484.
