Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• Manage patient care for medical overflow and surgical patients
• Provide care for conditions such as CHF, COPD, chest pain, stroke symptoms, and respiratory issues
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips and IV management
• Assist with diagnostic testing and initial cardiac workup
• Float to various units as needed within the facility

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience
• Experience with stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and trach care
