Schedules may include weekends as assigned by each department manager with alternating weekdays off. Schedules are subject to change due to department needs. Ensures sterility of procedure rooms and instruments. Assures compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, HIPAA, and other quality assurance standards.* Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments by reading appropriate books, journals, and other literature and by attending educational programs and other related activities.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS and/or REQUIREMENTS*** Registered (RMA/CMA) graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.* One year Medical Assistant experience required; OB/GYN preferred.* Demonstrated computer literacy.* Excellent organizational, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to deal with sensitive information requiring discretion and independent decision making.* Demonstrated initiative and ability to work effectively and efficiently under deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptions.**LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS**3. Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of MichiganX Certification, please list: Medical Assistant or **see below under Education and/or Experience.**3.
