Benefits: Dental insurance Paid time off Training & development Vision insurance About the Role: Join Gateway Residential Services as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide support and encouragement in a nurturing environment. Available Shifts: Monday to Friday 3pm-11pm working every other weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9pm-9am rotating between sites between in New Albany and Scottsburg Responsibilities: Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Implement individualized care plans and monitor clients' progress. Facilitate community engagement and recreational activities. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and care provided. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members for comprehensive care. Ensure a safe and clean living environment for all clients. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Experience in direct support or related fields is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to undergo background checks and training. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
