About the Position VHB’s Augusta, ME office is looking for a Construction Inspection Intern to join the team for Summer 2026. Overview VHB’s Augusta, ME office is looking for a Construction Inspection Intern to join the team for Summer 2026. Responsibilities Monitor construction to provide assurance that the project is being constructed in accordance with approved plans and specifications Perform quantity computations from field collected measurements and record the data for project records Document construction activities in daily electronic reports Coordinate with the Resident Engineer to address Contractors’ questions Skills And Attributes Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to grow professionally Ability to work well in team-oriented structure MS Office Suite skills Qualifications Currently pursuing undergraduate degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field Prior civil engineering/construction inspection internship experience preferred Must have a valid driver’s license VHB does not provide housing for internships.
