We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement operations and support efficient material planning for our client in Westlake, Ohio. This role is responsible for building dependable supplier relationships, improving purchasing performance, and ensuring the timely availability of materials needed to meet business demands. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial judgment, operational discipline, and a solid understanding of purchasing processes, including support for electrical-related materials and components.

MUST HAVE: Electrical Construction experience

Responsibilities:

• Experience supporting purchasing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, invoices, approval workflows, and material planning.
• Familiarity with bill of materials (BOM) processing and material estimation.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for vendor and internal stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow established processes in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience managing purchasing or procurement operations in a detail-oriented business environment.

• Strong knowledge of sourcing materials, supplier management, and end-to-end purchasing procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with vendors.

• Experience coordinating multiple purchasing activities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

• Familiarity with electrical materials or components and the ability to support related purchasing decisions.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external suppliers.
