Shift: 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:

• 59 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of acute care experience within the last 2 years.

• 24 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - MaineHealth.

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details: Daily workload of 7-8 echocardiograms per day. Performs transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), with use of 3D echo, strain imaging, and ultrasound contrast agents.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating days with rotating weekends. Overnight call 5:00 pm to 6:30 am 2-3 nights per month, with strict guidelines and cardiologist approval required to be called in.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS))
