firstPRO 360 is seeking a Senior Accountant for an immediate opportunity in Smyrna, GA. Primary duties of the role include, but are not limited to: account/general ledger reconciliation, month end close, accounting accruals, intercompany accounting for subsidiaries, financial statement preparation, and other tasks as assigned. Experience utilizing a large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) is required, along with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy reconciliation and accruals for accounts
- Maintain general ledger, making adjusting and other journal entries
- Own the month, quarter, and year-end close process in compliance US GAAP
- Perform intercompany accounting for subsidiaries
- Prepare financial statements and budgets for finance
- Manage overview of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Review of P&L accounts to resolve adjustment issues
- Examine accounting records for the entire department, checking for accuracy
- Tax reporting and assistance with annual audits
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- CPA or CPA track is preferred
- 3+ years' experience in corporate accounting
- Firm understanding of GAAP
- Large ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.)
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
