Join Our Team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Growing Urgent Care Facility


We are seeking dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals to join a rapidly expanding urgent care clinic in Great Bend, Kansas. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.


Position Overview:


As a key member of our urgent care team, you will deliver high-quality outpatient care, supporting patients through various clinical services. Your responsibilities will include performing patient assessments, administering medications, supporting minor procedures, and providing patient education. The role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, managing diverse patient needs with professionalism and empathy.


Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct triage to prioritize patient care effectively.
• Perform clinical assessments and documentation.
• Administer medications and manage IV starts (if licensed).
• Assist with minor procedures and wound care.
• Conduct point-of-care testing, including rapid tests.
• Support providers with clinical tasks and documentation.
• Educate patients about their conditions and treatments.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in Kansas or a compact state.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience in outpatient, urgent care, ambulatory, or medical-surgical settings.
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required at the time of hire.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.

Work Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts primarily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Typical schedule includes working three weekdays, with one Saturday and one Sunday per month.
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $35, based on experience.
