VMWare Administrator - Senior

COMPENSATION RANGE - $97,000 - $142,000 Responsible for unique or complex information systems and/or information technology projects across more than one discipline, such as application support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control, software engineering, network telecommunications, and infrastructure operations of administration, analysis, engineering and design. Provides direction to other IT Administrators on the project in a senior administrator capacity. Considered a technical specialist in a variety of IT administrator disciplines.Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter, NSX). Perform VM provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management.Monitor VMware environment health and performance.Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation.Implement virtualization automation and orchestration. Perform capacity planning and resource optimization.Support disaster recovery and backup operations.Maintain VMware documentation and runbooks.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred.4+ years VMware administration experience.Public Trust clearanceOther Job Specific SkillsStrong in: vSphere 7.x/8.x, vCenter, NSX, vSAN.Knowledge: Automation (PowerCLI, Terraform), backup solutions, disaster recovery.VMware VCP-DCV certified.#CJPOST
