Electronic Technician II - Electro-Mechanical Technician - 207557 (Clairmont)

Job Duties Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance and repair of a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location. Possesses intermediate diagnostic/troubleshooting knowledge and skills. Performs advanced testing of equipment to verify readiness after maintenance. Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints. Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware. Must possess advanced computer literacy. Knowledge of part identification and system search to enable accurate procurement of spares. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record. This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities. Performs own work and mentors others as directed. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Qualifications Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in Canada will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. 3 years of experience in related electrical/electronic fields are required. A Technical Certification or Associates degree in an Electrical field is preferred. Class 5 non-GDL driver's license required. Must be able to provide a copy of drivers’ abstract. Reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred. Schedule: 15 days on/6 days off with overtime eligibility. Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
