Job Summary
Pediatric Dietitian Days, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, located in a healthcare organization. This role requires experience in pediatrics and involves assessing and developing nutritional care plans for complex pediatric patients in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The position offers an opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic clinical environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum of a Masters degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field; completion of required coursework, Dietetic Internship, and successful passing of the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam; licensure as a Dietitian and registration with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics. At least 2 years of experience in pediatric nutrition.
• Schedule: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday, with a total of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position involves evaluating pediatric patients' nutritional status, developing individualized medical nutrition therapy plans, providing nutrition counseling to patients and caregivers, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds. Clinical duties include managing complex diagnoses such as GI complications, post-trauma stabilization, and nutritional support for infants transferred on tube feeds. The candidate must be comfortable working in a pediatric inpatient population and outpatient clinics, including nutritional rehabilitation and feeding programs.
• Submission requirements: Candidates must be licensed as a Dietitian and registered with the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics, with experience in pediatric care.
