In this role, you'll lead automation projects from concept through commissioning, developing innovative electrical and control solutions for industrial and water treatment applications.What You'll Do:Design electrical control systems, control panels, and automation architecturesDevelop PLC and HMI programs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred)Review electrical schematics, specifications, and P&IDsCreate electrical drawings and documentation using AutoCAD ElectricalPerform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and field supportIntegrate systems with customer SCADA platformsPrepare project documentation, submittals, and O&M manualsCollaborate with customers, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project deliveryIdentify opportunities to improve designs, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvementProvide technical support and training for customers and internal teamsWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline5+ years of experience in industrial automation and process controlStrong PLC/HMI programming experience, especially Allen-Bradley/Rockwell AutomationExperience with electrical control panel design, system integration, and commissioningAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and P&IDsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with water or wastewater treatment systemsExperience with Siemens, Schneider Electric/Modicon, GE, or other PLC platformsAutoCAD Electrical and SCADA integration experienceKnowledge of NEC, cUL, and IEC standards#LI-JO2Join the global Xylem team to be a part of innovative technology solutions transforming water usage, conservation, and re-use.
