Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, organizational development, engineering, or a related field or 5–7 years of experience in continuous improvement, project execution, operational excellence, or process improvement. Experience leading cross-functional projects and facilitating groups and experience developing or delivering training programs.\n\n· Knowledge of:\n\n· Lean Six Sigma principles, tools, and methodologies\n\n· Process improvement and performance measurement techniques\n\n· Organizational change management principles\n\n· Data analysis and reporting methods\n\n· Computer applications and related software\n\n· Proven ability to lead without authority in a complex multi-department environment\n\n· Ability to:\n\n· facilitate workshops and train staff across multiple levels of the organization\n\n· lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority\n\n· analyze complex processes and identify improvement opportunities\n\n· communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences\n\n· build relationships and foster collaboration across departments\n\n· promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement\n\n· apply creative problem-solving skills to overcome challenges and seize opportunities for\n\nimprovement\n\n· communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job\n\nperformance\n\n· and perform all essential functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor\n\nand/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\n· Individuals must be capable of operating vehicles safely and have an acceptable driving record.

Insight Global is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager with experience in strategic planning, project management, change management, data analytics, and process improvement to cultivate a high-performance organizational culture. The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a citywide continuous improvement program that enhances service delivery, increases efficiency, and builds organizational problem-solving capabilities. This role leads the design of standardized improvement methodologies, delivers Lean Six Sigma training, and supports departments in identifying and implementing high-impact improvements. This position works under general direction and collaborates across departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.\n\nEssential Functions: \n· This role will handle complex issues and problems while referring the most challenging issues to more senior level staff. The position provides leadership, coaching and or mentoring across the organization.\n\n· Program Development, Implementation and Leadership\n\n· Develops and implements a citywide continuous improvement framework, including standards, tools, and governance structures\n\n· Establishes and leads a Continuous Improvement Center of Excellence to provide training, resources, and support across departments\n\n· Designs and manages a structured improvement program (e.g., academy or cohort-based model) to build organizational capability\n\n· Aligns continuous improvement initiatives with city strategic priorities and operational goals\n\n· Project Leadership and Support\n\n· Leads and supports cross-functional process improvement projects with citywide impact\n\n· Identifies, prioritizes, and scopes improvement opportunities based on data and organizational priorities\n\n· Applies Lean methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance service delivery\n\n· Ensures sustainability of improvements through standard work, performance metrics, and accountability structures\n\n· Training and Capacity Building\n\n· Develops and delivers Lean Six Sigma training (e.g., Yellow Belt, Green Belt) to employees at all levels\n\n· Facilitates workshops, Kaizen events, and improvement cohorts\n\n· Coaches staff and leaders in process improvement tools, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and DMAIC\n\n· Builds internal capacity through a train-the-trainer approach and communities of practice \n\n· Culture and Change Management\n\n· Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and employee engagement\n\n· Partners with leaders to support change management and adoption of new processes\n\n· Encourages data-informed decision-making and problem-solving across the organization \n\n· Performance Measurement and Reporting\n\n· Develops and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) related to improvement initiatives\n\n· Monitors and reports on outcomes, including efficiency gains, cost savings, and service improvements\n\n· Uses data analysis to inform decision-making and prioritize future initiatives\n\n· Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement\n· Builds strong relationships across departments to align efforts and drive results \n· Communicates complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences, including executive leadership \n· Serves as a trusted advisor on continuous improvement and operational excellence \n\nPay Rate: $50-$54/hr
