Job Summary

A stable food and beverage production company on the westside of Portland is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and support a safe, efficient, and well-organized logistics environment.

This direct hire Warehouse Supervisor opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and keeping shipping, receiving, inventory, and material flow running smoothly. The role works closely with production, logistics, distribution, and leadership teams to support order fulfillment, operational accuracy, employee safety, and strong service levels.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, staging, storage, and materials handling.
- Lead, coach, and support warehouse employees to promote safety, productivity, accuracy, accountability, and teamwork.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, food production requirements, warehouse procedures, and material handling practices.
- Monitor workflow, labor needs, and team performance to meet production, fulfillment, and distribution priorities.
- Maintain accurate inventory controls and support cycle counts, documentation, discrepancy resolution, and issue follow-up.
- Partner with production, logistics, and leadership teams to improve warehouse efficiency, service levels, and operational processes.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $58,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year.
- Location: Portland, OR.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Supervise daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, and materials handling activities.
- Lead warehouse staff while maintaining a safe, productive, and accountable work environment.
- Support workflow coordination, order fulfillment, operational performance, and continuous improvement.
- Partner cross-functionally with production, logistics, distribution, and management teams.

- 6 to 10 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, shipping and receiving, distribution, or materials handling experience.
- Prior warehouse supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, safety practices, order fulfillment, and material flow.
- Ability to assign work, monitor productivity, resolve issues professionally, and support employee performance.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, follow-through, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food and beverage production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in food and beverage production, manufacturing, or temperature-controlled warehousing.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems, inventory systems, or ERP tools.
- Forklift experience or knowledge of powered industrial truck safety practices.
- Experience supporting process improvements, safety initiatives, employee training, and warehouse best practices.
