Position Summary: The Jiang Lab invites applications for a Research Associate position. The Research Associate will contribute to research focused on developing next-generation technologies for neurotechnology, biomedical imaging, and neural circuit interrogation under the supervision of Dr. Ying Jiang. The successful candidate will support the development and implementation of advanced ultrasound and photoacoustic systems for biomedical applications while working collaboratively within a dynamic and interdisciplinary research environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to expand their technical expertise in biomedical imaging and neurotechnology while contributing to innovative research with translational impact. Responsibilities may include experimental setup and testing, data acquisition and analysis, programming, instrumentation development, and support of research projects involving cells and other biological systems. The Research Associate will assist with the development and optimization of imaging systems, contribute to research studies, maintain laboratory operations, and support ongoing scientific initiatives within the laboratory. Basic Qualifications - Required Education: Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, neuroscience, or a related field. Required Experience: At least 1 year of prior hands-on engineering or research experience involving optics, ultrasound/acoustics, imaging systems, or related instrumentation is preferred. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an interdisciplinary research environment.

Additional Qualifications - Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scientific programming in MATLAB or Python is highly encouraged.
