Intelligent Logistics NY is a growing logistics company specializing in food distribution, warehouse operations, and delivery services throughout New York City. We focus on efficiency, accuracy, and reliable operations while supporting the communities we serve.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Bookkeeper with a strong background in accounts payable and extensive hands-on experience using QuickBooks .

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing vendor invoices, payments, reconciliations, and financial records. This position requires someone who can work efficiently, maintain accurate records, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and vendor account management.
• Enter, categorize, and maintain accurate financial transactions in QuickBooks.
• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements, accounts payable balances, and payment records.
• Prepare, schedule, and track vendor payments.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain organized financial records, invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payment matters.
• Assist with month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Support improvements to bookkeeping and accounts payable processes.

• Minimum 5 years of professional accounts payable and bookkeeping experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of extensive, hands-on QuickBooks experience (required).
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, vendor management, and account reconciliations.
• Ability to independently manage high volumes of invoices and transactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.

• Experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or related industries.
• Experience managing bookkeeping and accounts payable for multiple companies.
• Familiarity with expense management platforms and financial reporting.

Please Note: Extensive QuickBooks and accounts payable experience is required. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can confidently manage AP responsibilities independently with minimal training.
