Overnight Private Duty Nurse

Affirmed Home Care | Long Valley, NJ

Are you an experienced nurse looking for a rewarding one-on-one private duty opportunity? Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate clinician to provide overnight care for a client in Long Valley, NJ.

Pay Rate: $45.00 per hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Overnight Shifts

This private duty case requires a nurse who is confident providing skilled nursing care in the home. The ideal candidate has experience with seizure monitoring, PEG tube feedings, medication administration, and providing total care in a home setting.

• Provide one-on-one overnight nursing care.

• Monitor for seizure activity and changes in condition.

• Administer overnight PEG tube feedings using a feeding pump.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care and incontinence care.

• Assist with mobility and wheelchair use as needed.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with the family and the clinical team to ensure quality care.

• $45.00 per hour

• Flexible overnight scheduling

• One-on-one patient care with no patient ratios

• Supportive clinical leadership

• High-quality private duty cases

• Active New Jersey nursing license (RN or LPN, depending on case requirements)

• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience

• Experience with seizure disorders and PEG tube care preferred

• Current BLS Certification

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

• Physical exam within the past year

• PPD/QuantiFERON or chest X-ray as required

• MMR and other required immunization documentation
