Get away, visit family, or see the world! Responsibilities Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, specifications, and established hotel standards. Ensure food is prepared and presented with consistency, quality, and attention to detail. Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift. Assist with daily food preparation, including prepping, portioning, stocking, and proper food storage. Monitor food quality, freshness, temperatures, and presentation. Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift as needed. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food production requirements. Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas. Communicate effectively with the culinary TEAM and other hotel departments. Work efficiently during high-volume service periods while maintaining quality and consistency. Support other culinary operations and duties as assigned. Requirements 2+ years of cooking experience preferred. Previous experience in a hotel, resort, restaurant, or luxury hospitality environment preferred. Strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for food. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to culinary excellence. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established standards. Culinary degree or formal culinary training is a plus, but not required. Reliable, professional, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, may be required based on hotel operations.
