Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking an RN Manager position located in New York, NY. This leadership role focuses on leading nursing practice utilizing the tenets of the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing to enhance the patient experience. Candidates are required to bring their license in New York State on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: New York, NY
• Shift Hours: 7:30 am 4:00 pm, 7.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Masters degree in nursing or a health-related field preferred; current New York State registered nurse license; 3-5 years of nursing clinical care experience with Charge Nurse/Supervisory experience preferred; relevant clinical competence in assigned nursing practice area
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Charge Nurse or Supervisory roles, staffing experience as a Nurse Manager, and familiarity with high reliability principles, quality improvement, root cause analysis, error reporting, clinical documentation, and safety compliance
• Additional Responsibilities: Leading interdisciplinary quality improvement teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality metrics, fostering a safety culture, addressing escalations, and supporting clinical staff development
• Schedule: 7:30 am 4:00 pm, shift hours of 7.5 hours, minimum of 37.5 hours per week
• Additional Information: The role involves leading clinical practice to support patient-centered care, promoting error reporting and safety initiatives, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Candidates should have supervisory and leadership experience in a clinical setting.
