Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,062 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing is hiring a travel RN for an ICU assignment at a facility in Bronx, New York. The assignment starts on 07/29/2026 and lasts 13 weeks, with 33 hours per week on an 8‑hour night shift. Responsibilities Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition. Administer complex medications and treatments according to approved critical‑care nursing techniques. Operate and manage advanced life‑support equipment, including arterial lines, central venous pressure, and pulmonary artery catheters. Ensure patient safety and comfort in high‑acuity ICU environments, addressing physical and emotional needs. Record significant conditions, reactions, and interventions, and notify appropriate providers of changes in patient status. Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner. Provide education to patients and families about the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations. Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care. Maintain proficiency in critical‑care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training. Adhere to strict infection control protocols and hospital safety procedures. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Perform other duties as assigned within scope. Required Qualifications One year of recent experience as an ICU RN. Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations. Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications. Preferred Qualifications Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification. TNCC, NIHSS certifications. Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
