This role is responsible for originating residential loan applications primarily sourced through internal bank referrals, supporting branch staff with mortgage-related inquiries, and guiding customers through the mortgage process. You'll play a critical role in helping Rosedale Bank achieve its strategic lending goals and deliver exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Originate and manage mortgage loan referrals generated through retail branches, marketing campaigns, and other internal sources.Build strong relationships with branch staff, educate them on mortgage offerings, and provide sales and service techniques.Conduct borrower consultations to assess financial needs, evaluate risk, and recommend appropriate loan products.Guide customers through the mortgage process from application to closing, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.Maintain and manage a pipeline of active loans and accurate records using CRM and loan origination systems.Proactively generate new mortgage business through networking, community involvement, and outreach efforts.Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly loan production goals.Perform consumer loan, home equity line of credit, and home equity loan settlements.Cross-promote other Bank products and services as needed.What You Bring:High School Diploma required; Associate degree or college coursework preferred.3+ years of residential lending experience; sales experience strongly preferred.Active NMLS license required.Experience with Encompass LOS preferred.Extensive knowledge of residential loan origination activities and regulations.Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, loan origination software, and CRM tools.Working Conditions / Physical RequirementsMust be able to remain standing for long periods (approximately 50% of the time).Occasionally move about the office to access files and equipment.Frequent use of computers and office equipment.Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule to accommodate customer needs.Why Rosedale Bank?Competitive compensation and benefitsOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentA culture rooted in community, connection, and careEmployee involvement in charitable giving, financial literacy, and local outreachA workplace that values you-your voice, your growth, and your impactReady to help customers achieve their dream of homeownership while growing your career?Apply today to become our next Mortgage Loan Officer and make a difference in your community.We are an equal opportunity employer.
