TX-STAR Speech Language Services partners with school districts throughout Texas to connect students with specialized speech and language services. We are currently seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based opportunities in the El Paso area.

These positions are ideal for clinicians who are committed to strengthening student communication, improving classroom participation, and helping children access their educational programs more successfully.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will assess communication needs and provide individualized services that support students' academic, social, and functional development.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and procedures

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and communication goals aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs

• Provide direct therapy services in individual and small-group settings

• Address needs involving articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and related areas

• Collect and review progress data to guide clinical decisions and adjust intervention strategies

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members

• Participate in ARD and IEP meetings and share evaluation findings, progress updates, and clinical recommendations

• Complete service logs, evaluation reports, progress notes, and other required documentation accurately and within established timelines

• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices, district procedures, and special education requirements

Qualifications for This Position

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field

• Current and active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology preferred

• Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply, with supervision available

• Strong understanding of IEP procedures, special education services, and school-based clinical practices

• Effective written and verbal communication, organization, and time-management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

• Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus
