Maintenance Technician: Sharon, Wisconsin

Our customer in Sharon, Wisconsin is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Maintenance Technicians to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility systems and production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs in a timely, efficient manner.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, service calls, and equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install, adjust, and replace equipment parts and components as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Follow all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Assist with general facility maintenance such as lighting, painting, and basic carpentry.
• Coordinate and collaborate with outside contractors and vendors when required.

Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, Mechanic, or in a related role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, or machinery repair strongly preferred.
• Ability or willingness to cross-train on equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical schematics, and safety procedures.

Pay for Maintenance Technician: $22.00–$35.00/hour, based on experience and skill level.
