Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room

Position Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Location: Advocate Condell Medical Center, 37703 Advocate Condell Medical Center - Surgery Room, Libertyville, IL, United States Work Setting and Schedule Operating Room environment – 12 OR suites including cardiovascular and neurosurgery units Full‑time, 40 hours per week Shift: 0700–1530 with 30‑minute response time required Holiday call rotation and on‑call shifts (4–5 per month) Level1 Trauma Center Various surgical specialties: cosmetic, gastroenterology, gynecology, neurology, open heart, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, plastic, thoracic/vascular, urology, weight loss Compensation Pay range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour (based on qualifications, experience, and training) Premium pay for shift, on‑call, and holiday work Opportunity for annual performance‑based increases Qualifications Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the candidate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association Preference for RNs with prior surgical services experience Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. You will deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making.
