About The Role The role is pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility in Greenwich, Ohio. It focuses on efficient, safe, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement and team development. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and direct daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
- Optimize plant processes and equipment utilization to maximize output while minimizing waste and costs.
- Lead safety programs, training, and incident prevention initiatives, ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
- Ensure all products meet industry standards and company quality requirements through inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and develop production supervisors and staff, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs for equipment and facility operations.
- Manage raw material inventory and procurement coordination to support efficient operations.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, track key performance indicators, and report to senior leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements and new technologies to support company growth.
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in building products or related industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams, drive accountability, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with manufacturing software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Background in safety program management is desirable.
