Farming and farm related enterprises are the principal businesses for the Joint Unified School District is a K-12 school district with four campuses Fipps Primary (K-3) Riverdale Elementary (4-8) Riverdale High School (9-12) and Horizon High Continuation School (9-12). Riverdale Joint Unified School District provides services to more than 1300 students. Riverdale Joint Unified School District is fortunate to have a student body which is ethnically and culturally diverse.
Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Principal and/or the Principals designee the Student and Family Liaison is primarily responsible to build trusting relationships with students on campus and provide outreach to families and the community. The liaison supports effective communication between the school and families fostering an ongoing partnership between the home and school with the shared goal of student success. The position may also include other duties as determined and assigned by the site administrator. See job description for further details.
Requirements / Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent;Bilingual;Experience working with school age children is desired;Experience working with adults in a customer service setting or similar is desired;Valid drivers license;Must have ability to obtain and maintain insurability status under the Districts vehicle insurance policy.
