Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Health & Hospice

Potential Contract-to-Hire Opportunity

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.43/mile

Service Area:
Bartow, Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, Gilmer, Fannin, Floyd, Murray, Pickens, Walker, Whitfield

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide quality care to patients in their homes and care facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with elderly, disabled, or recovering individuals and be committed to helping patients maintain their comfort, dignity, and independence.

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals in a home health and hospice setting.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe environment
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the care team
Document patient care activities accurately using EMR systems
Support patients in both home and facility-based settings
Educate and assist patients and families with basic care needs, nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities
Follow all safety, infection control, and confidentiality guidelines

Required Qualifications

Current CNA Certification
Current CPR Certification
Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Experience providing care within facilities and/or home health environments
Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the assigned coverage area
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

Preferred Experience

Home Health and/or Hospice experience
Experience working with elderly, disabled, or chronically ill patients
