Radiology - X-ray Tech

CT/X-Ray Technologist

Seeking a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift position. The work schedule is four 10-hour shifts covering the weekend. Technologist will cover call after regular working hours. The shift begins at 9 PM and ends at 7 AM. Every other weekend, the technologist will be required to cover call for one hour at the end of their shift. The ideal candidate should have a daily caseload of up to 28 patients. All applicants must have at least two years of recent experience in CT. First-timers are accepted. Weekend coverage will vary depending on staffing needs. The position requires on-call availability. The technologist may need to float within the scope to meet facility needs. While a block schedule may be requested, it is not guaranteed. Candidates must be open to working with local staff. The position accepts pending state licenses, provided applications are submitted immediately after receiving an offer. No time off is allowed within the first two weeks of employment. Time off requests should not exceed one week. The facility is an acute care hospital with full medical and surgical services. The hospital operates 24 hours a day and has a skilled extended care facility attached. Dress code allows for any scrub color. Charting is done using Cerner. Candidates should be familiar with various CT and radiology procedures, including but not limited to, CT arthrography, coronary CTA, biopsies, and trauma imaging. Experience with special equipment such as Siemens and GE radiology machines is preferred. Staff will rotate on-call responsibilities and may be required to cover more than one weekend per month. Candidates should be proficient in various imaging techniques and have experience working in a team-oriented environment.
