Overview Supports employee onboarding, recruitment coordination, payroll‑related data accuracy, record maintenance, and employee communications while ensuring compliance with applicable employment regulations. Serves as the primary HR communications resource, creating flyers and announcements to drive employee engagement. Hourly Rate: $28.00 – $30.00. Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am to5:00pm. Responsibilities Performs internal and external recruiting, including administering the internal job posting program, screening and referring qualified applicants, and corresponding with applicants. Supports seasonal hiring by coordinating onboarding surges, rehire processing, and documentation tracking. Creates, monitors, and updates position descriptions as needed. Facilitates new‑employee orientations and maintains orientation materials. Maintains, reviews, audits, and files employee records and documentation in accordance with company policy and employment regulations. Responds to employee inquiries relating to HR processes and policies, including benefit eligibility and complex issue escalation. Supports and manages assigned projects in collaboration with HR Generalist and HR Management teams, including employee engagement activities and employee events. Assists in preparation and processing of onboarding documentation, ensuring all pre‑employment requirements are completed accurately and on time. Collects and verifies acceptable documentation to complete Form I‑9 and processes e‑Verify for all new hires. Co‑ordinates and reconciles payroll and HR data, including new hire information and referral bonus tracking, in partnership with the payroll department. Tracks, logs, and maintains employee certifications, licenses, and required compliance documentation. Audits HR and payroll‑related data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely updates. Manages bilingual communication, interpreting and translating complex HR policies and legal documentation. Supports off‑boarding by providing exit documentation and responding to final steps inquiries. Creates engaging HR materials using design tools such as Canva. Manages internal communication boards and maintains internal communication resources independently. Qualifications Minimum of 2–3 years of Human Resources experience in the hospitality industry. Ability to be fully bilingual in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with physical travel between properties as operational needs require. Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills. Proven attention to detail with the ability to audit data and identify errors or discrepancies. Demonstrated experience supporting multiple HR functions, including onboarding, recruitment coordination, and HR data management. Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred. Ability to handle confidential information with a high degree of discretion and professionalism. Experience creating HR communications and flyers using design tools.
