Commercial Roofing Estimator

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $27-$37 per hour (Higher compensation available for exceptional experience)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to support our growing low-slope roofing division. This role is responsible for preparing accurate estimates and proposals for a wide variety of commercial roofing projects while supporting our outside sales team.

The ideal candidate possesses estimating, drafting, or roofing industry experience and excels in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and organization are critical.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial roofing projects
• Generate approximately 3-5 quotes per day for smaller projects
• Develop comprehensive estimates for larger projects that may require dedicated focus
• Review project specifications, drawings, and requirements
• Support the outside sales team with pricing and proposal development
• Maintain accurate project documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure estimate accuracy

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of estimating and/or drafting experience
• AutoCAD experience strongly preferred
• Drafting experience required
• Commercial low-slope roofing experience or familiarity is highly desirable
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
